BAR
At TRACK, fostering collaboration among partners is one of the main goals, whre the design process often becomes a key facilitator. This collaborative spirit was vividly demonstrated in a project initially conceived as a bar for La Fourna, which organically evolved into a versatile stage for spontanoues performances, expanding its functionality beyond its original intent.
The centerpiece of the bar is a thrifted, old aluminium structure, symbolizing the union of time and circularity. Surrounded this core are reused and adapted metal grids, meticulously assembled to create a cohesive whole. To the same structure, weels and legs are flexibly attached in order to move the bar/kitchen within the sapce according to its usage. The top of the bar features coated wooden boards, complemented by a row of leftover tils from a recent renovation.
2 weeks to build it, 3 days to stress it.
A bar for 51N4E, a kitchen for La Fourna, and a stage for Kiosk Radio.
